Trash Team

On Earth Day, after having a late lunch, Will and his wonderful cousin Hilary decided to pick up trash near and on the Mississippi River in Northeast Minneapolis. They realized the positive effect they were making for the community, and, as Be Simple Apparel contributors, decided to make it a company tradition to clean up communities. Will realized the Trash Team, along with Be Simple Apparel’s eco-friendly products and packaging, will continue Be Simple Apparel’s mission to create a better tomorrow.

Starting early in the summer of 2012, Be Simple Apparel, lead by its founder Will and its University of Minnesota Campus Club, will organize the first Trash Team party to pick-up trash near the University of Minnesota. Zero-waste snacks and drinks will be provided after clean-up as well as presentation by Will on Be Simple Apparel’s progress and goals for the future.
